Pidgin Controls helper should (optionally) show highlighted message count only

Pidgin normally notifies me only when:
 * I have **highlighted** messages in a chat (e.g. with my username, or highlighted by the highlight addon)
 * I get a direct message from a contact
 * not for every single message in a chat

It normally keeps a count of only these things.

Docky's Pidgin Controls helper notifies me and counts for all messages. Could you make it notify and count only highlighted and direct messages instead? (At least as an option.) Counting, I think, is the more critical requirement to match Pidgin's own behaviour.
