Bug Description

Entire system freezes when Gnome Do is set on "run on startup + show display" with Ubuntu Lucid + autologin.
Autologin on Ubuntu asks for unlock password (wifi) after Gnome-DO, this causes the crash.

Possible fix: Make sure Gnome-DO is last in the startup queue.

Update:
Exact problem has been traced to:

Gnome-Do asks for "unlock default keyring" on startup.
This combo freezes Gnome. Music keeps playing.

I confirm this bug is still there and pretty annoying. Uninstalled gnome-do and things are back to normal

There are some pretty wild workworkarounds for this bug including ssh from another computer, so I'll post a simple on here:
Ctrl+Alt+F1
once here you can login and uninstall oo kill gnome-do (killall -9 gnome-do OR apt-get remove gnome-do)
Ctrl+Alt+F7 (or F8-12)
gets you back to GUI. If you only killed gnome-do, you can enter your keyring password and run gnome-do again. Uninstall gnome-do if you like. Or remove it from startup applications.

Oh! I now see what the problem is here - it looks to be a battle of
dueling grabs. I wonder how I can fix it…
