Bug Description

Sometimes gnome-do crashes randomly. I have no idea what induces this crash, and I can't reproduce it besides it happening from time to time.
I started it from the terminal to get some output, I'll attach it (it seems debugging symbols are not installed? I'd be happy to install anything and test, although I can't trigger the crashes and have to wait for them to randomly occur.)

I'm using gnome-do from the ppa in jaunty 64bit,
$ dpkg-query --show gnome-do
gnome-do 0.8.2+dfsg-0~9.04~ppa3

$ dpkg-query --show gnome-do-plugins
gnome-do-plugins 0.8.2+dfsg-0~9.04~ppa3

I'm using docky theme.

Can you run Do from the terminal with the --debug switch, ie: $ gnome-do --debug

That output will provide much more useful information.

Here is the file generated by "gnome-do --debug >gnome-do.txt 2>&1".

The same thing happens to me. I'm using docky with the same version of gnome-do from the ppa, also in jaunty 64bit. 70% of the time the crash is at startup. When it happens I have to kill the process and restart gnome-do.

ivansoriano: right, with me it also often crashed directly on startup, I forgot to mention that in the description.

And I'm not sure sure about this bug being a duplicte of #394337 as the outputs of gnome-do --debug look considerably differently.
