dbus not registering that do has quit. restarting requires waiting 5mins for dbus timeout

On quiting Do DBUS maintains some record of Do.

If a new instance is started, do says the following.
[Debug 09:09:48.590] [SystemService] Existing application instance detected. Summon and bail.

after 5 minutes DBUS times out and Do continues to launch
[Error 09:14:48.595] [SystemService] Could not EnsureSingleApplicationInstance: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
[Debug 09:14:48.600] [SystemService] at IControllerProxy.Summon () [0x00000]
  at Do.Platform.Linux.SystemService.EnsureSingleApplicationInstance () [0x00000]
[Debug 09:14:48.609] [Controller] Setting theme Classic Interface
