Bug Description
Hi,
I just typed “Ctrl+space” (maybe twice?). It ended up with a Gnome-do window… that didn’t responded! ☹
I tried to type a letter, to press “Escape”, to change desktop, to open a window of any application, to kill it with Xkill (after apport collected its informations of course)… but nothing worked. The only way of closing this very annoying non-closable window hiding the entire middle of the screen was to type “killall gnome-do” in a terminal.
This may be related with some weird interactions with Gnome-shell.
Hoping it can help,
Martin, that should use only stable applications… one day.
P.S.: I’m sorry for the abruptness of this bug report, I have to say that repetitive bugs (from mosts applications, actually), slowing (including very annoying one ☹) and very weird behaviors make me regret having kept upgraded softwares. I’m just observing that this wasn’t the case in Ubuntu years ago, but that this trend to bugs and slowlyness is being more and more present in Ubuntu: filling bug report should never have becomed a daily work to do.
