Bug Description

Everytime I create a new task, it will update the tasks on the RTM website, but it won't update the tasks for gnome-do until I go back into the configure menu and re-authorize my account.

Everytime I enter the configure menu, it asks me to authorize my account.

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Lucid Lynx
Gnome-do 0.8.3.1
Remember the milk plugin v2.0

Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks.

Natty Narwal, so, why does it not remember my authorization and settigns?

I'm not sure if I'm experiencing the same as Thomas, I think Raimund and I suffer from a different bug: it doesn't remember the authorization.

I have 2 computers. When I first used RTM with gnome-do everything was working fine as expected. But the same account on the second computer forgets its authorization quite frequently. I didn't figure out when I have to re-authorize excactly, though.

Is it possible to use the RTM plugin on 2 computers with the same account?

Can you collect the terminal output from running “gnome-do --debug” and reproducing this problem (ie: having to re-authorise), and attach it to this bug? That will hopefully give a starting point to debug this.

Sorry, I forgot that this could be useful information. When I ran gnome-do from command line (without --debug) I saw an error from the Google Calender plugin. That reminded me that on the other computer (where it's working as I wrote in #4), I disabled several plugins which I never really used before using RTM. Now that I did this here to, I can't reproduce the bug I described in #4 anymore. But I can't also find which plugin is responsible. It is not Google Calender (because I reenabled this one and it's still working).

But it seems as if my problem was a plugin conflict. If I find out which plugin is responsible, I'll post it here.

I setup a fresh Ubuntu and the bug reappeared again (I'm now on 12.04 here).

I disabled all plugins except RMT. If I authorize my account, everything works fine. If I quit gnome-do and run it again, it forgets the authorization. If I then try to add a new task, it just prints "Login failed / Invalid auth token (98)" in the shell.

Detailed debugging output:

First run gnome-do and authorize (I deledet the authorization part of the URL).
