Bug Description
Issue:
Ran into an issue recently where I could open Diodon but it would have absolutely nothing in the clipboard. Completely empty. `<Empty>`
Background:
Recently installed Diodon and had a ball with it, absolutely amazing tool. I have it set to start with my system. I have a Global Hotkey setup to open it more easily while I'm typing (Super+V). I've also enabled images in the clipboard, per the preferences menu. Anyways... I booted up my PC this morning and noticed that no matter what I copied it wouldn't show up in the context menu; Neither Images nor Text.
Solution:
Clear the clipboard.
- I killed Diodon and restarted.
- Rebooted my System.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Diodon.
- On a whim I decided to just test my dumb luck with clearing it and it started to work again.
System Info attached as .txt file.
I assume that was an issue with the Zeitgeist service. In case this happens again, quit Diodon and start the following in the command line:
G_MESSAGES_ DEBUG=all diodon > diodon_debug.txt
check the history and if it is still empty, attach the debug log here.
