Add snap support to diodon please.

I agree a snap package would be a good idea. Not sure how easy it is though as Diodon uses quite some Xorg features which might not be allowed within a snap scope.

Patches are as always welcome, if anyone wants to work on a snap package.

It's just a WIP though, since it can't be used in strict confinement because of the zeitgeist dependency.
Not sure you want to continue using zeitgeist as backend though, as it's nowadays pretty much in deprecation.

Per se, Xorg features are alla allowed within a snap, so it works fine on that terms.

Yeah I know Zeitgeist is kind of end of life. I think this is a shame though as they are no real alternatives covering the same use case. We will need to look into this at some point in the context of #1235880

I hope though a snap interface can still be created for Zeitgeist as it is basically a DBus service.
