Bug Description

r216 removed the desktopcouch.records.record module, which is referenced in many code examples for using desktopcouch.

This seems at odds with the commit message on that revision that says all the old import paths should still work.

Same goes for the desktopcouch.contacts.record module. Is compatibility actually intended here?

Disregard the last comment: I had temporarily removed the python-desktopcouch-recordtypes package while testing things.

Even so, the old import path should still be in desktopcouch.contacts, so if that's not the case somebody removed those by mistake. I'll have a look

But yes, it does look as if desktopcouch.records.record was removed by mistake, I will re-add it.
