Bug Description
I configured deja-dup to store backups at samba share with anonymous (public) access without a password. But every time scheduled backup runs, deja-dup keeps asking me what kind of access to use: username + password or anonymous. Then when I choose "anonymously", the backup proceeds without any error.
I use:
Ubuntu Mate 17.04
deja-dup 34.4-0ubuntu1
duplicity 0.7.06-2ubuntu3

That is annoying. If it were an ftp location, you could specify "anonymous" as the user, but smb doesn't allow for that. I've filed a bug with gvfs upstream to ask for that feature.
If that's rejected, we could try to work around it in deja-dup itself.
