Bug Description

I know this is very similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/decibel-audio-player/+bug/150291, but the fix commited for that request doesn't apply to me. I don't use GNOME, so having support for GNOME multimedia keys doesn't do me any good.

Is there any way to add direct support for the XF86Audio keys, independent of desktop environment or window manager?
