Bug Description
Binary package hint: tsocks
tsocks works by installing an LD_PRELOADed library. Since the amd64 tsocks package only provides a 64-bit version of this library, it only works with 64-bit applications. It would be nice to also have a 32-bit libtsocks.so that can be used with 32-bit applications.
(My particular use case is a Java Web Start application that doesn’t natively support SOCKS, and Java Web Start is only provided with 32-bit Java.)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
