os-prober fails to detect Ubuntu on md0 (software RAID1)

Bug Description

Asus Netbook 900A (CPU: Atom, RAM 1 GB)
Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 installed on sda1
Ubuntu 12.04 installed on md0

As seen on this Boot-Repair log (http://paste.ubuntu.com/1074461), os-prober executed from a 12.04 live-CD returns:

/dev/sda1:Debian GNU/Linux (4.0):Debian:linux
/dev/sda2:unknown Linux distribution:Linux:linux

when it should return:

/dev/sda1:Debian GNU/Linux (4.0):Debian:linux
/dev/md0:Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (12.04):Ubuntu:linux
