Bug Description
Binary package hint: debfoster
When purging debfoster, the script that comes with the package asks on a terminal whether to delete the list of wanted packages. Synaptic doesn't notice this, and the answer must be typed into the terminal. I'm assuming that this is a violation of packaging policy. If not, this is at least a bug in synaptic for not properly indicating in the UI that some intervention is required.
To reproduce:
-install debfoster
-run it, so you have a keepers file
-purge debfoster
