Bug Description
Binary package hint: auditd
After a clean install and synaptic update of Gutsy, I installed auditd. However, I am unable to configure it using /etc/auditd/
sudo auditctl -w /etc/passwd
I get the following error:

I am also seeing this behaviour. I see a [kauditd] and /sbin/auditd running, yet none of the examples actually seem to work.
