Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi

I can put my Dell Latitude Csx laptop on suspend, which works fine. When I wake it up, there is no sound. I can hear neither system sounds nor music/multimedia.

Rebooting fixes this problem (until the next time).

There are, but I've already installed them. I assume that's what you mean.

My bios is (are?) updated to the latest available version.

The kernel is too old, and lots of problems have been reported for hibernation/resume features. Probably better to try the latest kernel.
