Bug Description

from listing https://answers.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+question/27223. Have to talked to quite a few OPs now over the entire Dc network and moste of them agree that having the windows maximized is not a good idea, not wanting to whinge too much about this but could you please reimplement the old style Dc++ windows layout, where one can resize each window seperatatley as before

Why did you (developers) decide to go for SDI instead of MDI interface? So many people have used to multiple windows side by side... It was a lot easier to navigate between them and close unneeded search, chat or file list windows. Standard tab control does not even allow to have close buttons on each tab (like in Firefox). Yes, you can use shift+click, but not everybody knows that...

It make have mulitple conversations as a mod much harder.

Don't expect this to happen soon since it would require a lot of coding...but at some point in the future it would be nice to be able to snap windows around to create side-by-side views and such things...
