n day log command

I often find that I would like more backlog than I've been given, i.e. I want to see things that I saw before I quit my irc client; or I leave a client running, start another from a different machine and want to see what has already been sent to the first client.

It would be great if there was another command on the interface:
/ctrlproxy logs <duration>
This would send all the logs for the specified duration.
e.g.
 * /ctrlproxy logs 2days
 * /ctrlproxy logs 3hours
 * /ctrlproxy logs 5min
 * /ctrlproxy logs +2hours (backlog + 2 hours before the first message in the backlog)
 * /ctrlproxy logs all (everything)
