Xsession failsafe mode requires xterm

Bug Description

/etc/gdm/Xsession failsafe mode requires xterm, which is not installed by default. When it can't find xterm, failsafe mode fails.

Waldorf will probably use slim. Also, I am currently building an updated Statler release which will also use slim.

Philip, have you thought about using LightDM? I'm not sure about what
kind requirements / dependencies it has, but looks like a very good
alternative.

Andreas, I have looked at many display managers, including LightDM. I have been using slim on my own boxes for a while now and it seems to be working well. :)
