Bug Description

I would be great to see support for the Decibel audio player - http://decibel.silent-blade.org - it's a very nice, small and fast GTK app, that does not have a lyrics fetching function and thus would benefit greatly from Covergloobus.

decibel has a very poor dbus api, there is no way to know info about current playing track
the only possible way is to make it like Spotify plugin, using XLib, but only track title and artist will be available
a very ugly solution for a native linux app

mpris is used by a lot of players
http://wiki.xmms2.xmms.se/wiki/MPRIS
though imho it lacks SetMetadata method (we need it for setting rating remotly)

Decibel audio player (dev version) now sticks to the MPRIS. You can get this version from Launchpad:
