Cover Thumbnailer doesn't generate correctly the thumbnails

Bug Description

I don't sure that this problem is caused by nautilus.
I have activated Cover Thumbnailer with my music folders.
In some folders, containing a "folder.jpg" image file, CoverThumbnailer shows the CD image but no with the cover image. See screenshot attached. And though I close and reopen nautilus, it still doesn't work. I have to close nautilus completely, with "nautilus -q", so it shows me the cover properly.
I wrote a script (in bash) so that my folders of movies showing the cover, and it works well. I use the next command:
     gvfs-set-attribute "<folder>" metadata::custom-icon <image>

By this reason, I think that the problem isn't in nautilus.

cover-thumbnailer /home/user/folder/that/does/not/works out.png

? :)

It generates a thumbnail correctly with that command.

Ok... Close all nautilus window and clear the thumbnail cache (System→Preferences→Cover Thumbnailer, Miscellaneous→Clear thumbnail cache)

It will force Nautilus to regenerate all thumbnails :)

It doesn't work. I have to execute "nautilus -q".
With " gvfs-set-attribute "<folder>" metadata::custom-icon <image>" the icon change is inmediate.

I have my home folder showed in my desktop.

With "nautlus -q", yes. But it shouldn't be necessary restart nautilus of this form for this works. IIt should work simply with a refresh of nautilus windows. Don't you think?

It seems that this problem occurs when nautilus is in panel mode.

Nautilus have a problem for refreshing thumbnails (and it has more difficult with folder thumbnails)...
In the next version I will try to do something for fix that :/

Doit on en gros participer au développement de nautilus pour ça ?!

Et pourquoi avec les autres thumbnailers dans le registre à cet
emplacement /desktop/gnome/thumbnailers ils fonctionnent sans soucis
avec nautilus ?! Car tu m'a toujours dit que ça ne vient pas de
cover-thumbnailer n'empêche que je doute toujours car sur des dizaines
de thumbnailer c'est le seul qui a un souci avec nautilus.

Au pire des cas il va falloir participer au développement de nautilus si
c'est vraiment nautilus qui pose le souci. :-|

La dernière fois tu m'a dis que tu voulais pas mais t'es un peu
contradictoire car tu veux corriger un bug mais pas son origine
même. :-))

En tout cas à bientôt j'espère, au fait si jamais t'a Skype ajoute moi
avec ce pseudo darkredman666 ;)
