Leaves hidden thumbnails behind and quit

Using it (1-1-1) in 12.04 gnome-shell session, deleting the current wallpaper from indicator applet forgets removing the associated (hidden) thumbnail and the soft quits at the same time

the 0-7-3-1 from universe/gnome repo just won't work at least in gnome-shell (in other computer). Although the gui shows pictures from the selected folder and thumbnails are created, the picture won't show in the desktop (and the appel icon remains dark-blue like when searching/indexing files although there are only a tenth)
