System:
Linux Mint 21.1 (Mate) - fresh install, all Compiz settings default
Using "Show Desktop Button" applet sometimes changes order of windows displayed by "Window List" applet if Compiz is used.
With Marco or Metacity there is no problem.
Also with "Show Desktop" Compiz plugin enabled there is no problem (by default this plugin is disabled so there is a problem). However with "Show Desktop" plugin there is other bug - sometimes activating the plugin removes some windows from "Window List" (they reappear after unminimizing all windows) - I think it's more probable with low values of "Window Part Size" option of "Show Desktop" plugin. With this value set to 0 all windows are gone - this one probably could be explained (but I don't know if it makes sense for any user).
