Bug Description

During the testing of Ubuntu Quantal Daily - Live Session, the windows, when maximized, often showed a transparent line just below the task bar and also to the right of the launcher. In effect the windows had a transparent line on the top and the left edges.

A screenshot is attached showing Rhythmbox, but I've also noticed similar glitches while using LibreOffice applications.

I can confirm this as happening often when I use Rhythmbox in Quantal under VirtualBox 4.1.18, along with chromium-browser, sometimes.
