Bug Description
I have observed the same problem previously running alpha and beta of Xubuntu 12.04 (bug #929054) when the Maori layout is loaded, even if another layout using the AltGr is selected, that layout will no function properly with AltGr combos:
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ ʻʻʻʻʻʻʻʻ
Sorry, command-not-found has crashed! Please file a bug report at:

Please include the following information with the report:
command-not-found version: 0.2.44
This is the 2012-03-18 daily build of Ubuntu 12.04
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ uname -a
Linux ubuntu 3.2.0-19-
I'm running today's live i386 CD on a system which is normally running the Xubuntu 12.04 beta, kept up to date. Apparently the problem with the Maori layout has been fixed in that version, but I don't know if THIS bug regarding command-not-found crashing has been fixed in Xubuntu.

Note that I created a Hawiian keyboard layout (which produces a ʻokina (glottal stop) character with the single-quote key and is otherwise the same as the Maori layout. I am attaching the /usr/share/ X11/xkb/ rules/evdev. xml and the /usr/share/ X11/xkb/ symbols/ us files which have had this layout enabled. This layout does work properly.
