Bug Description
My favorite package manager is aptitude but it isn't easy to use "command-not-found" feature with it.
I hope that you will add support of aptitude.
I don't know python, that's why my patch is so simple.
Thank you in advance.

While I understand the desire I cannot accept the patch as-is. This would make any system with aptitude installed prefer that over apt-get. While single user systems are the most common nowadays I would still prefer a solution based on per-user configuration.
