Twitter account doesn't remember unread tweets

Bug Description

The number of unread tweets is always 0, also if i have some unread tweets.
The strange thing is that that notificationsare showed but the number in the indicator applet is always 0.

I set the status to "New" because the changes has not been merged into the upstream master branch.

I need review the changes because they have some bugs. When I can, I'll try to add the changes to master.

I've not implemented the bug and the cando patch need some review. I'll see this bug when I finish the new oauth twitter authentication
