Bug Description
The application needs:
- Translatable messages extraction into a .pot file
- Messages in the .pot file exposed in Launchpad (just a matter of committing the file, Launchpad will do the rest)
- Translations (textual .po files) to be built into gettext binary catalogues (.mo files) and shipped in the package
