Bug Description
I'd like a way to simulate the left mouse click with a keyboard shortcut.
This menu is installed on Vinux, for visually impaired people. My friend can't use a mouse at all, and needs a keyboard way to open the menu.
The next steps are fine - use arrow keys and enter, and the screen reader announces the name of the menu item.

+1, also for those fully able but preferring keeping their hands on the keyboard
ideally helping noobs when dconf/gsettings already has e.g. <Alt-SPACE> mapped to launch the (in my case no longer existing) "main menu"
