Bug Description
Instead of being spawned by dbus, the checkbox backend should be spawned directly from the frontend using sudo. Then, the backend should be daemonized before returning control to the frontend. This implies that the backend should be closed either by sending a command from the frontend upon exit, or the backend could probably detect when the session is terminated.
