frequent errors accessing manage.jujucharms.com

We saw numerous failures during the last weekend from a script running on reports.vapour.ws:

ConnectionError: HTTPConnectionPool(host='manage.jujucharms.com', port=80): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/2/charms?series=precise&text=charm (Caused by <class 'socket.error'>: [Errno 110] Connection timed out)

This error ouccurs also today, but not as frequently. Example times ("sent" timestamp from an error mail):
