Bug Description
In some restricted environments it is only possible to use juju commands & actions.
Having an action that will allow to check the status of the managed tool. E.g. running the commands that are normally associated with the managed process to check its health would be really useful.

I think it might be nicer to work these into the status of the units, rather than having a specific action?
