Bug Description
We have a request from a customer to enable the charm to use the new openstack exporter [1], as the new openstack-exporter code has many more metrics compared to the one that is currently being used by the charm.

Efforts surrounding this work are in progress. We're currently blocked on performance of the newer exporter at scale. This is being tracked upstream in this issue:
