Bug Description
Mail-notification uses IMAP's IDLE option to open a connection to a mail server, then wait until google tells you there's a message. This means:
- You're not polling when you don't have to
- You get notified that there's a new message virtually instantaneously.
This would be a big deal in getting me to switch (although the indictaor/

The idea it's not bad, the imaplib2 python module needed to do that it's not packaged though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
