Hi Evan.
This is not a Today scope bug since it is interaction between child scope Upcoming (aka events) and Calendar app.
I tried it with Upcoming child scope: com.canonical. scopes. events 1.1.1
I saw an event in my google cal for later today, tapped it, and in its Preview, tapped "Open" and Calendar opened to the day of the event, which is almost exactly correct ;)
