Bug Description
unity8 deb
xdiagnose deb
Test Case:
1. Launch xdiagnose from the app drawer (install it if not already installed)
2. This app requires superuser privileges and prompt the user to enter his password
3. Enter the password
Expected result
The app is unlocked
Actual result
The password is accepted but the password prompt is displayed again and the app is not unlocked
The result is the same with all the apps that require elevated privileges and executed as a user.

Works for me :-)
The only thing I have on my system that might be different is the UAL patch to run XMir for legacy applications. It is landing right now, so please try and see if that fixes xdiagnose for you.
