Bug Description
Settings up a new device over the weekend, I noticed that I could not log in any of the Google+ apps using my Canonical account. The issue is that the webapp container doesn't handle the redirection to login.ubuntu.com. Every time the Ubuntu login appears, I end up in a new browser window and the app doesn't ever get the cookie for the login.
This used to work (and also has been broken in the past and fixed) with most of the G+ apps in the store. Currently none of them seems to be able handle this.

There is an existing bug on this, david can you dupe this if so?
@michael I have found it does eventually work for me if I go through the login paces then restart the webapps but far from ideal
