Bug Description

A "Do not disturb" mode which essentially disabled non-essential notifications would really help. Essential notifications like alarms, calls etc can be shown. This will help reduce distractions during meetings.

I was more useful if it was possible to set a duration for than 'Do not disturb' mode.

The option to have "Do not disturb" maybe for 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours whould be very, very usefull. Sometimes I silent the phone, and after 2 hours in which I didn't want to be disturbed I forget to unsilent the phone, so I miss important calls.

How is this different from silent mode? Does adding a timeout to silent mode meet the goal?

'Silent mode' is for sound. 'Do not disturb me mode' is for sound and notifications.

You could set 'Silent mode' because you are in a meeting but could want to see the notifications.

Or you could set 'Do not disturb me mode' because you don't want to hear any sound nor watch any notification (because you are reading a pdf file, i.e.).
