Bug Description
The calendar indicator date is not updated without restart if the day changes while the application is running.
Ubuntu 14.04(Trusty)
How to replicate bug:
Keep the application running for two days without restarting it: the date shown after two days is unchanged.

Same for me, sometimes it helps to click on "show calendar" and close it again, sometimes not.
