Bug Description
This is a very minor thing ;
Sometimes you move folders around and end up with broken references in files like .bzr/branch/
The format of these files does not tolerate a line feed at the end of the file.
Many common Unix text editors insert a line feed at the end of a file without prompting and make it awkward to remove it (e.g. vim).
Cue having to open a hex editor to fix this.
Suggest it would be easy to strip a terminating line feed from these files to make it easier to perform this kind of hackery, which lets face it, is what open systems are all about.
