Open / Refresh takes really long time with lots of files added

Bug Description

After adding 30k files to a project, Bazaar Explorer took several hours to refresh the main view (with working tree info). The same time was taken when opening the project. I don't know exactly how long it took as I left the building after waiting 2 hours and it had finished loading by the next day.

I have not been able to test if this is the same as bug #500072.

It could be also affected by QBzr treewidget performance?

I understand your pain.

While debugging the bug 779529 I've found that too long list of files in the status/submit view cause VERY bad performance of QTextBrowser.setText(). I've fixed this in trunk, so I suppose your situation could be improved as well.

I'm inclined to mark this bug as duplicate of 779529, because the latter has important debug info.
