bounding box incorrect on PDF graphics

Bug Description
Binary package hint: lyx
When I insert a PDF from OpenOffice (export from Draw to PDF) into LyX, it shows it with an incorrect bounding box.
Here is what one of the experts said:

Hopefully when that release comes along, Ubuntu can quickly adopt it.
