Bug Description
When resizing the window in 2.4.2, the resizing is constrained so the width and height are multiples of the column and row sizes.
This behavior is lost in the version currently in debian testing which results in having unused space around the text.
Maybe add an option to enable the old behavior if some people find the current one useful
