Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
A popup window with the title "Installer crashed" was displayed with info below. I was included /var/log/
I don't know if this information is useful but this happened immediatly after I was asked to keep/replace /etc/modprode.
Some other potentially useless info is that I had been away from the computer for maybe 2 hours and when I came back the upgrader was waiting for my response.
One last thing, in the Upgrader window, the text just above the console was showing strange characters instead of accented characters (the character encoding was fine in the console window).
