Bug Description
My system:

Linux 3.2.5
sane 1.0.22
xsane 0.998
hplip 3.12.2
hplip-plugin 3.12.2
Printer is connected via USB
Xsane scanimage and other tools produces the same effect of cutting the first part of the image when scanning from adf.
Attached is a sample of the hp print test page.
I'd like to point out that this product is advertized as fully supported on hp site, but scanning actually is giving me a lot of problems (see other bug reports)
