Super key doesn't release when hitting number

If I login, hit Super+2 (starts Evolution) or any other Super key then Unity/Compiz continues to react like the super key is held down no matter what I do. Hit it, switch desktops, whatever. So things like scrollwheel up zoom in while in this mode.
