Bug Description
In the "Who are you?" screen it is possible to enter a number for "Your computer's name" if you follow these steps.
1) Enter your name
2) Enter '99' as your computer's name
3) Observe 'hostname already exists on the network'
4) Enter your username
5) Start typing in the password field
6) Observe a green check by the hostname / 99 / your computer's name
I discovered this using ubiquity version 2.9.15 from Precise Alpha 2.
In bug 634215 the reporter indicates that having a number for a hostname interferes with some other software.
"help reduce incidence of invalid hostnames (which results in lots of invalid bugs against postfix when it declines to configure itself with an invalid hostname)."
