Automatic camera testing doesn't work on Thinkpad T400 with 12.04 Alpha 1

This bug happened during to automatic system testing at the webcam test.
The camera LED is glowing and probably capturing, but totem is not able to play back the video and complains "stream contains no data.".

CheckboxData: totem complains "stream contains no data." however, the camera was probably capturing, because the LED was glowing. camera worked since 10.10 perfectly fine.
