Bug Description
On my laptop, compiz is always using a significant chunk of the CPU, ranging from 15%-40%, even when I'm idle. I first noticed the increased usage during the oneiric development cycle, and now that it persists into precise.
My apologies for such a vague bug.

We should certainly get to the bottom of this and make sure it's fixed and stays fixed in Precise.
