Bug Description
Binary package hint: beagle
I have beagle installed, but still got "Places" => "Search for Files..." which opens the regular gnome search program.
In earlier gnome versions instead of that, there was a "Search" menu item when beagle was installed, which started the beagle search program.
Currently, I have to resort to the beagle desktop search program or deskbar to use beagle.
I'm using Feisty with beagle 0.2.16-0ubuntu4 and gnome 2.17.92. I'm filing this in beagle as I don't know the packages for the gnome menu and it might be a beagle problem anyway.

Wouldn't this be a dupe of https:/ /launchpad. net/bugs/ 52878 ?
